Welcome to the official page of the Signol Athletic Under 9 Falcons! Competing in Division 9 of the East Manchester Junior Football League, our young players are learning the fundamentals of football while developing their skills and building a love for the game. The Falcons are focused on teamwork, confidence, and fun, with every match offering a new opportunity for growth and progress.
We’re excited to watch the Under 9 Falcons continue to develop and enjoy their football journey throughout the season!

A local lad. I grew up playing grassroots football all over Stockport, from U13s to Open Age. I never crossed paths for or against Signol Athletic at any age, however I’m now one of their many passionate coaches.
I’ve worked around children for 10 years now since I was 17, and am now a proud Uncle to one of the Signol Falcons.
This is my first year as a head coach and if it’s taught me anything then it’s not as easy as it looks on the outside, but it’s easily the most rewarding part of my week.
My coaching experience started in 2023 when a friend asked for help one evening. Fast forward to now and I’m enrolled on for my UEFA C license and delivering sessions to my own team in a fantastic grassroots club.
Achievements:
The Falcons 24/25 season is their inaugural year in grassroots football. They are currently in the U8 age group and play in division 9 of the East Manchester Junior Football League.
