Football has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, either playing it, coaching it or watching it. Therefore to have two sons who also love the game makes me very proud.
I was asked to coach a newly formed U9s team for the 24/25 season and it has been a pleasure to be involved in the boys’ development as footballers and as young people. It’s wonderful to see the boys improving every week and bonding as a team, learning skills like team work, resilience, and determination.
It’s an honour to be able to play whatever small part I can in the boys fulfilling their full potential and enjoying the game for many years to come.

My first encounter with Signol was when my older son joined at the end of the U7s season. He was a very quiet and shy lad but only after a few sessions I could already see his confidence rising. He was making friends and was made to feel welcome from the start thanks to the fantastic coaches.
Now my younger son also plays for the U7s whilst I’ve started coaching along side Paul. It’s been a rocky start to the season for us but it’s been great seeing the lads improve week in, week out and enjoying their football.
