Competing in Division 6 of the East Manchester Junior Football League, our young players are developing their skills, teamwork, and passion for the game. We are proud to be part of this dynamic league and are committed to fostering a positive, fun, and supportive environment for our players as they grow both on and off the pitch
Manager: Gary
Proud to be coaching the U8 Tigers at Signol. Living in Romiley and being a lifelong football fan, I've always had a passion for the game, and now have the privilege of helping young players develop their skills while having fun.
My son, Archie, plays for the team, which makes this experience even more special for me. I love supporting the boys at this early stage of their football journey, helping them grow in confidence, improve their abilities, and most importantly, enjoy game in a fun and inclusive environment.
Assistant Manager: Jake
I am Jake Burkitt, a proud coach of the Under 8s Tigers and an active contributor to the soccer school. In addition to my coaching role, I am the Sales Prep Manager at Vauxhall and reside in Hazel Grove. I’ve been a dedicated member of Signol Athletic FC for 13 years, starting at 21, and continue to play for the first team.

My passion lies in watching players develop and progress every week. Whether we win, lose, or draw, it’s always rewarding to see the smiles on the players’ faces. My son, Arthur, plays for the Tigers and thoroughly enjoys his time with the team, thanks to the warmth and support of his teammates.

As a coach, I bring a wealth of experience to the team, and I strive to ensure that this knowledge is passed on to the players, helping them grow both on and off the field. It’s an absolute privilege to be part of their football journey.
