Our talented young athletes are competing at the highest level, showcasing exceptional skills and teamwork in the East Manchester Junior Football League Premier Division. As the team enters its second season in this highly competitive league, the Lions have already made a significant impact, demonstrating resilience, passion, and dedication on the pitch.

Bio:
As a dedicated husband, father of two, and secondary school teacher, my life is filled with rewarding challenges and joyful moments. My journey with Signol began in the 1990s as a player, and it’s a privilege to now serve as a team manager. I’ve been guiding the current team since they were under 6, and it’s been incredibly fulfilling to watch them grow and develop over the years. Being part of this club is a true passion of mine, and I look forward to many more successful seasons ahead.

Bio:
As a proud father of two and a former Signol junior player, I have a long-standing connection to the club. I first brought my son to train with Signol at Stockport Sports Village when he was under 6, and since then, we've been committed to the team's development. I began assisting Bren with the Under 8s, and it has quickly become the highlight of my week. Watching the incredible progress of these young players, both in their football skills and personal growth, has been a true privilege. It’s especially rewarding to see their friendships blossom and their confidence soar. I’m also continuously impressed by how much better they are on the pitch than I was at their age!
Achievements:
The Under 10’s Lions have been once again competing in the EMJFL U10 Premier Division. The boys have had a fantastic season in the league and have continued to go strength to strength.
The Lions also appeared in the Primary Cup final this season having beaten a number of top teams in the knockout rounds. The lads claimed a well-deserved victory in the final winning what is the highest level competition in the entire age group.
The lads are looking forward to continuing to play in the Premier Division for seasons to come and to challenge for more silverware
